THE HISTORY OF

ROYAL SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE

Royal School of Excellence was established on the 27th of August 2017 by Dr. William Komla Tsekpo (PhD) and Mrs. Vivian Tsekpo. With a mission to provide quality education and foster a love for learning the school began its journey with nine pupils and two dedicated teachers; Miss Seraphine and the very noble Mr. Isaac Darko. Despite its small size, the founders envisioned a nurturing and dynamic educational environment that would grow to adapt to the needs of the community.

Over the next few years, the school continued to grow both in size and breadth. As of 2024, Royal School of Excellence has grown to accommodate about 160 students with a dedicated team of 20 teachers and staff members. This school remains committed to its founding principles of providing quality education in a nurturing environment.

Royal School of Excellence’s journey from a small school with just nine pupils and two teachers to a thriving educational institution is a testament to the power of dedication vision and community support. The school looks forward to continuing its mission of shaping leaders of tomorrow.

SOME MEMBERS OF STAFF

MANAGEMENT

DIRECTOR - Dr. director william komla teskpo

He is a professional teacher of many years. He had his first degree in Sociology from the University of Ghana. He also had his masters from the University of Ghana in population studies. He also has a second masters from Valley View University in Educational Administration.

He was the head of HR in Accra Metro Education directorate. He was the former district Education director at Ada West, Sege. Former Acting director for Ada East and Ningo-Prampram districts. He is the current director of education for the Ayawaso East Municipal Education directorate.

He has an honorary doctorate degree for outstanding scholars’ achievement in Leadership and Mentorship and also has an academic PHD.

PROPRIETRESS - Mrs. Vivian Agbavitor –Tsekpo

She is a professional teacher from the Jasikan Teacher Training College. She has a diploma in Archival Studies from the University of Ghana. She also has her first and second degrees from the University of Education, Winneba in Guidance and Counselling. She is the current guidance and counselling coordinator for Ablekuma North Municipal Education directorate.
